Week 1
After finally getting everything together, we started the building process. We used tetrix pieces as the metal for the body of the car.
Our main focus was the base of the car. So, while I screwed the tetrix pieces together with nails and screws, Joel helped to disassemble other robots and use their pieces to finish the base. A lot of man power was needed as the pieces were quite heavy.
The first week was spent making sketches of the physical outcome of the car, collecting the needed materials, and evenly distributing the work between my partner, Joel Kayanja, and I.
By the end of the day, we had succeeded in making the four corners of the car, which make the base.
The car had already taken its rectangular shape.
